About the Role
The line cook is responsible for preparing assigned food items according to Hollycake House recipes, guides and portion control guidelines
Must possess basic cooking skills.
Must have at least basic knive skills
Must have experience and be sufficicient in the use of range top, flat top grill, food processor, panini grill, fryer and slicer.
Must have understanding of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.
Previous prep or line cook experience.
Ability to take direction.
All employess of Hollycake House work closely together and the line cook must have the ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated, and organized.
Must be detail-oriented and have a committment to quality
