About the Role

The line cook is responsible for preparing assigned food items according to Hollycake House recipes, guides and portion control guidelines

Requirements

  • Must possess basic cooking skills.

  • Must have at least basic knive skills

  • Must have experience and be sufficicient in the use of range top, flat top grill, food processor, panini grill, fryer and slicer.

  • Must have understanding of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.

  • Previous prep or line cook experience.

  • Ability to take direction.

  • All employess of Hollycake House work closely together and the line cook must have the ability to work in a team environment.

  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated, and organized.

  • Must be detail-oriented and have a committment to quality
